For example, if a squad has a bonding power, at least one bonding hero must be included. If you include Iskra, you must include Rechets, and vice versa. If you include Acolarh, you must include at least one Elf. If you include Pelloth, you must include some other Drow, etc. Counter example would be you do not have to include Acolarh just because you have Morsbane since Morsbane doesn't mention any synergy. You also do not have to include a Huge figure if you put in Sir Denrick as that power is not activated as friendly.

TOURNAMENT UPDATE: Given that I haven't been enforcing time limits, this might not mean much, but I am extending the official time limit for each round from 55mins to 75mins. If you only have Renegade figures in your army, pick an Affiliation from one of the figures in your army to represent your whole army for the whole event. Otherwise, Renegade figures are considered to follow whichever Affiliation your non-Renegade figures follow. Special powers for Renegade released cards that reference a specific Affiliation change to match the Affiliation you are playing. For example: If you play Frostclaw Paladins with Sir Hawthorne in an Utgar army, any references to Jandar in Jandar Champion Bonding change to reference Utgar instead, allowing you to bond with Hawthorne. Crimson Twins may use Bankroll to change the Affiliation of one Unique Hero prior to the game.

Your army must include a minimum of 90 points of small and/or medium unique heroes. Before the start of each game, you and your opponent will simultaneously select a small or medium unique hero from your own army to serve as your Diplomat. For the entirety of the game, your diplomat gains Diplomatic Immunity: +1 attack and defense against common squad figures. Your diplomat is not placed normally at the start of the game. After all other figures have been placed, and before placing order markers, you and your opponent will place your diplomats. Players roll the D20; high roll may choose to pick first or defer. Players then take their 1, 2, and X Order Markers and alternate placing them on the map. Order Markers must be placed a minimum of 5 spaces from either Start Zone, and cannot be placed next to other Order Markers or on glyphs. After both players have placed their three Order Markers, both players will place their diplomat at the location of their X Order Marker.
